Sorrento Water Bore
Having just completed a submersible Sorrento water bore two doors down, it was a good feeling to be doing a bore for a neighbour who had observed our work. Both these Sorrento water bores were drilled through limestone to a depth of 47 metres with the static groundwater level measured to 35 metres. In this Sorrento water bore we installed a 1.5 kw 3 phase stainless steel submersible pump which delivered plenty of water flow and pressure to more than adequately power the existing retic system. In fact one of the owners primary reasons for getting a bore was because of his “miserable” flow from mains water and we well and truly solved this problem. Here we used a genuine 1.5 kw “Calpeda” stainless steel pump motor made in Italy and designed to give years of trouble-free operation. It was coupled to a 17 stage submersible pump.
