Bore Drilling Ocean Reef
Our powerful drilling rig is perfect for boring through the limestone often encountered deep down in Ocean Reef. Using the rotary mud drilling method allows us to drilling a 150mn diameter borehole to the required depth. We then case this hole with 100mm class 9 PVC. The bottom 6 metres is slotted casing through which the water enters. Having drilled a larger hole than the casing allows us to pack the annulus around the slotted casing with drillers gravel. This prevents the ingress of fine sands often found in Ocean Reef .
