BOOK A BORE SERVICE!

If your bore has stopped working Virgin Bores will fix it if anyone can. Perth metro wide. That’s what our service team and our electricians do every day!

It would help us to know if your bore is –

(a)    the old well style with concrete liners and typically a tin “witches
hat” style lid with a pump that is visible when you lift the lid? Does the pump start yet no water? (so probably a priming issue or check valve problem in which case we send our bore serviceman) or does the pump not start at all ? (in which case we send our bore specialist electrician who will repair if simple electrical problem or test and certify the pump motor as fused- possibly then the subject of an insurance claim )

Insurance fusion repairs are our specialty.

                            or

(b)    a modern bore with submersible pump. Typically you would see nothing at the surface as the small bore lid is under the lawn or maybe
you’ll see a small A4 size green plastic or grey cement lid. We are equipped with winches to pull submersible pumps to the surface if  necessary.

If you don’t know where your bore is, no worries, we can advise on how you may be able to find it yourself or we can send a serviceman with locating equipment. We replace fused pump motors.

Insurance fusion repairs are our specialty.

automation of existing systems

Virgin Bores are Perth’s experts on automating existing bores and reticulation sytems. If your
bore sprinkler system is currently operated manually with an on / off switch we can easliy fit a fully automatic reticulation controller and interface it to start your bore. Commonly this involves our electrician fitting a 24 volt start relay or contactor to the  existing 3 phase DOL ( Direct Online Starter) or single phase start box. Where you may currently switch from one section to another by manual gate valves or taps we can install automatic solenoid valves. Compliance with your rostered water days then becomes automatic.

Reticulation controllers ( timers ) are powered by mains power 240v but have a battery back up so that even in the event of a power failure the programmed memory is retained. This allows you to leave the property for extended periods safe in the knowledge that your irrigation system is programmed to come on automatically.
